Since then, determined to become a full-time writer, Kris has has written more than 20 books. It's amazing to me how many great books she's written in such a short time. She has a military background and writes wonderful romantic suspense. If you're looking for a new author to read, Kris's Kings of Guardians series and the spinoff Guardian Shadow World are a great choice. As one of her readers put it:
