So between the kitchen and dining room there are these half walls with spindles. Rather dated and cuts sight lines between rooms. No bueno for me!
So we ripped out the top spindles and wood top and bottom! (And by we I mean the amazing boyfriend!)
I know it's a tiny change but it delighted me so much I had to share with you guys!
Ooooo! And you can see the cute little table and chairs we got and put together the last time I was there AND our "free with the house ugliest couch you've ever seen but makes into a bed" couch too!

I've made my list of everything I want to change and I've bought a couple books on "how to renovate a house" so we're off and running!!

Love the new look! Good luck with future renovations and never discount how important a pull out couch can be. Slipcovers were my favorite accessory when I started redoing our first house:)
