I’m right in the middle of A Weekend with the Authors in Nashville, Tennessee. It’s great to meet readers and other authors and talk about books. And eat good food. And play fun games. Although I will say I almost lost my voice after 21/2 hours of speed dating (which for those of you who are unfamiliar with it is musical chairs where authors sit at tables and readers move from one author to the next to talk about what the author writes. Every three minutes the readers move to another author). It’s exhilarating and exhausting at the same time.
I won’t have too much time to recuperate. I get home late Sunday night and leave again on Wednesday for Seattle for the west coast edition of BDSM Writers Con, run by Dr. Charlie Ferrer. It’s a conference for readers and writers of Dominance and submission with workshops and demonstrations and workshops on all aspects of BDSM. I always have a good time and learn something new.
Next month I’ll be at the Brook Hollow Winery in Columbia, New Jersey on April 14 for a Day of Wine and Romance. What could be better than sitting around a wine-tasting room talking books? Roz Lee does a wonderful job putting the event together and she’s a damn good writer as well. If you haven’t read her books you should give them a try. One of my favorites is Spring Training. And her book Suspended Game won both a Golden Flogger Award and a Passionate Plume Award.
I have started a Facebook group called Rose's Garden of Delights. I will be posting about my writing progress, talking about kink, and have already featured many recipes for my #TastyTuesday, with a new recipe each week. Come join me at https://www.facebook.com/groups/1661377927239257/
