For 2018, I’m going to focus on the things that are important—the things that bring me joy. So here, in no particular order, are the things I resolve to do in 2018.
First, finish writing each of my series. I have two....errrr... three book series going right now, and I feel like my characters are starting to get a leeeeetle bit upset with me. Sometimes, I picture them, arms crossed, eyes narrowed, checking their watch when I choose to finish another character's arc before theirs.
Second, follow Chrissy Teigan on Twitter. Everytime Buzzfeed writes an article about her, I spit out my soda. Why am I only enjoying the snippets Buzzfeed chooses to share when I could have unadulterated access to this genius every day on Twitter?
Third, watch every show or movie in which Jason Momoa stars or costars, or walks on set. Watch YouTube videoes in which he stars.... like the one where he throws the tomahawk... “My name is Jason Momoa, and I like drinking beer and throwing tomahawks.” Freaking a—this is inspirational.
Fourth, do the same as above, but with Chris Hemsworth, John Boyega and Taylor Kitsch. (As an aside, I believe this can only improve my writing....)
And finally, buy nice socks.
