Whew! I just returned from the Emerald City Writer’s Conference.
It was a great weekend featuring workshops with amazing speakers, exciting
industry professionals and tasty food. My favorite part of any conference is
the chance to meet new people (including readers and authors I love, such as
Victoria Dahl!)
and the opportunity to reconnect with old friends.
I love to be handed a microphone (be afraid, be very afraid)
so I was thrilled to talk about writing steamy books with
Anna Alexander and
Gail Bridges at a session
entitled Behind Closed Doors. With the talented
Shoshanna Evers
as our moderator…how could we fail??
I also got to talk to some of the leading editors and agents
in the business.
Whew! What a weekend. My mind is still spinning.
