MY FAVORITE SEASON

It's my favorite time of year again; the Halloween season is upon us. Stores have begun to fill their shelves with spooky, creative delights for the holiday. Die hards (like me) have started to decorate their homes and plan their costumes. If it's still too early for you because the weather is in the 90s (like in SoCal) or you don't do holidays until the month of, here are some fun ideas to get the wheels spinning...

Easy to do with dead branches and cheap crows from the Dollar Tree store.

Full-size skeletons can be purchased at any hobby store or Spirit Halloween.

Mantles and fireplaces make a great Halloween showplace. A large skeleton can be easily found at any hobby shop and spray painted black. Buy some cheap fake pumpkins and skulls at a Dollar Tree store and paint them whatever color you'd like. Black lace spider runners can be found at wish.com for a few dollars, and black branches are at Target again this year.

Seriously, how creative is this?!

And this?! Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice...

These costumes were probably purchased, but they can also be made at home using removable lettering. The pink satin jackets may not already be in your closet, so search thrift shops for one.

Face paint and a flower is all you need for this classy Day of the Dead couple's costume.

Some great ideas, no? Leave a comment and tell me about your favorite part of Halloween.
