Halloween Music

Halloween is Almost Here!

There are a ton of fantastic songs out there that you can play at any Halloween party, depending on your taste and style, but here are my TOP 5 SONGS FOR HALLOWEEN

 1. Thriller by Michael Jackson. There can’t be a list without having that song on it.

2. Ghostbusters by Ray Parker Jr. from the Ghostbusters soundtrack. This song is so much fun. I love the original movie.

3. Love Song for a Vampire by Annie Lennox. This song is from the movie Bram Stoker’s Dracula.

4. Cry Little Sister by Gerard McMann—or any other song from the Lost Boy’s soundtrack. Still one of my favorite vampire movies of all time.

5. Burn by the Cure. This is an amazing song from The Crow soundtrack.

Do you have any favorite Halloween songs?

And in keeping with Halloween, if you’re looking for some sexy vampires, you might want to check out the Dalakis Passion vampire series.

Dalakis Passion Series

The Dalakis brothers are unlike most men. They are vampires. Each one has searched through the long years for that one woman who can complete him. As the centuries pass, hope dwindles but doesn’t die. Finally the time comes for each brother to claim his woman. But danger is everywhere and there are enemies who wish to destroy them. Protecting a modern woman isn’t easy, but there is nothing these brothers won’t do to keep their chosen one safe.

Dalakis men love forever—deep, dark and eternal. The search for love is their curse, but it is also their salvation.

Guest Diva Robyn Bachar Dishes about Bite Me

For those who don't know her, Robyn is a wonderfully talented author who I was honored to be in a critic group with. She is also the person who convinced me romance is the genre I needed to write. I'm so happy to welcome her here today so she can tell us all about herself, her writing, and her very yummy new book-Bite Me!

What is the Heat level of your books from 1 to YOWZA?

This one has an orgy in it, so I suppose it qualifies for YOWZA. Bite Me has a f/f/m ménage and some light kink. (The heroine’s inner lust demon, Mistress Elizabeth, has enough sex toys to start her own store.) ;-) Bite Me’s heat level is on par with my sci-fi ménage series, the Cy’ren Rising trilogy.

What are you writing right now? Is it part of a series?

I always have a few projects in the works. Right now I’m working on the next installment of my Bad Witch books. It’s a bit haunted house, a bit Beauty and the Beast, and very steamy. I also have a fantasy romance planned for later this year, and another Bad Witch book.

Any hobbies non-writing related (stalking male cover models on Facebook doesn’t count)?

Gaming. Right now I’m addicted to Dragon Age: Inquisition. That’s not surprising considering I was addicted to the first two games in the series—I’ve played Dragon Age Origins over 20 times, and every time I encounter new material. That game is so good. Plus BioWare includes romance options in their storylines, so you get to save the kingdom and get the guy.

JUST A DECADENT TASTE….
·
Last book you read?: Widdershins by Jordan L. Hawk, and now I want to read all of the books in that series. I loved it.
·
Cake or pie?: Cake, unless it’s a chocolate pie.
·
Stand alone or series?: Series. I’m very nosy, and I like to hear what happened to characters after the        first book ended.
·
          Novella or novel?: Novel.
·
Real or pen name?: I write under my real name. ;-)
·
Vanilla or ANY another flavor?: There’s a time and place for vanilla, and that is buttercream frosting.
·
Tattoo or piercing?: Tattoo, I have four of them.
·
Once Upon A Time or The End?: Once Upon a Time is so much easier to write than The End!

Bite Me Blurb

Consumed by the need to feed…

After an out-of-control spell triggers the zombie apocalypse, Lizzy Addams is left in the ruins of Chicago with only the slightly unhinged commentary—and endless erotic appetites—of her inner demon for company. Her blood supply dwindling, she is forced to find survivors to feed from, or die trying.

Officer Angela Kinney was on duty when hungry corpses overwhelmed the city. The survivors look to her for leadership, but nothing prepared her for a beautiful monster who offers safety in exchange for blood.

Sean MacMillan never expected to see Lizzy again after she rejected his attempts to lure her back to the vampire fold. But with his flock threatened by the horde and his murderous vampire brother, Lizzy is the only one he can trust to keep them safe.

The veil of secrecy shrouding the supernatural world torn apart, humanity’s only hope is to forge an alliance with vampires, werewolves, and things that go bump in the night. Though accepting their aid could be a devil’s bargain that puts humans at the bottom of the food chain.

Warning: Contains vampire orgies, angsty demon sex, a frisky lesbian werewolf, light kink, and enough sex toys to start a store.

Guest Diva, Jocelyn Dex, Is Here...

And she brought her demon hunter with her!

Demon's Bounty, Book 1 in Hunting Hell

By: Jocelyn Dex

Thanks for having me here today!

Demon’s Bounty is a cross between erotic paranormal romance and urban fantasy. It features a fun cast of characters including: demons, a siren, a dog, a witch and others. Check out the blurb and excerpt below and if it sounds good to you, I hope you’ll give it a read.

Blurb:

Welcome to the Network, a secret organization with a mission to hunt and kill rogue demons, a job best left to the experts. When the Network hires a siren named Lydie, things get a lot more complicated for veteran demon hunter Tanner, and a lot hotter. Passion ignites when Tanner decides to give in to his desires and sample what Lydie is offering in Demon’s Bounty, Book 1 of Jocelyn Dex's new paranormal series Hunting Hell.

Excerpt:

“Nice place,” he said as he accepted her offer to sit.

“Thanks.” She treated him to a dazzling smile that formed a lump in his throat. The urge to reach out and touch her golden hair and lick her pink lips deluged him. “Can I get you anything?”

Had he imagined the suggestiveness in her tone? Probably. As much as he wanted her, he was probably projecting his wants onto her. He cleared his throat and tried to keep from ogling her. “No thanks. The man you left with tonight, I need to know where you dropped him off.”

She leaned in a little closer, giving him a better view of her ample cleavage. “Hmm. Are you sure you wouldn’t like a drink?”

He needed to keep his cool, remain in character, but her nearness was driving him nuts. He couldn’t remember the last time a female had affected him so profoundly. She exuded an energy, a vibe, that made him want things he didn’t have a name for. “I’m sure. The  man?”

“He isn’t a problem. Forget him.” She reached out and gave his thigh a little squeeze as if to accentuate her words.

His dick instantly hardened, and his thoughts muddied. What were they talking about? Rubbing his temples, he strained to remember. Oh yeah. The demon. His bounty for killing the demon. “Mi—Lydie,” he corrected, “it’s important you give me his location. He’s dangerous. You’re lucky you weren’t hurt.”

That magical laugh drifted through his mind again, compelling him, mellowing him. “He didn’t seem all that dangerous to me. And see”—she stood, did a twirl, and sat back down next to him, closer than before—“I’m all in one piece.”

Yeah, one exquisite piece she was. “You got lucky. Now where did you take him?”
“You have sexy eyes…officer.” She leaned forward as if to get a better look. “I’ve always preferred dark eyes on a male, and yours are the darkest I’ve ever seen.”

With her face so close to his, her sweet breath caressing his cheek, he barely fought back the desire to kiss her, ravage her. She affected him like no other. Her essence pulled at him, drew him in, but he had to fight it, just a little longer. When he got the information from her, he’d make quick work of killing the demon and delivering the body to D, and then he’d be back here to put out the fire that was obviously burning between them. “Thanks,” he choked out. “About the man…”

“There’s no man but you, here, right now,” she said. Her voice raised an octave, the most melodic sound he’d ever heard, the trickling lull of the wall fountain a perfect backdrop to the melody.

Brain feeling fuzzy, dick hardened to granite, he again fought to remember why he was there. “You, uh…” He couldn’t remember. All he knew, in this moment, was that a goddess sat next to him, and if he didn’t touch her soon, he’d die.

Thanks for stopping by and reading!
