Guest Trinity Blacio Contest and Recipe

Cooking With Trinity

With fall around the corner what are some of your favorite things to make? I thought I would share one of my favorite recipes with you this day.
The first was introduced to me when I was a child by my step-mother, she was always trying new things on us.

Bacon, Cheese Puff Pie

(Yes, I use this for dinner, but could be used as breakfast too.)

· 10 slices bacon, in 1-inch pieces

· 1 (8 ounce) can crescent roll dough

· 2 medium tomatoes, sliced

· 1⁄2 teaspoon salt

· Pepper

· 5 slices Cheese

· 1⁄2 cup flour

· Parprika

· 3 eggs, separated

· 3⁄4 cup sour cream

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

2. Fry bacon until crisp and drain on paper towels.

3. Unroll Crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles.

4. Sprinkle bacon over crust.

5. Top with tomato slices.

6. Season with salt and pepper.

7. Place cheese slices on top of tomatoes.

8. Beat egg whites until stiff and set aside.

9. In large mixing bowl, combine egg yolk, sour cream, flour, salt, and a dash of pepper.

10. Blend well then gently fold beaten egg whites into mixture until a few lumps of egg white remain. Do NOT over blend.

11. Pour mixture over cheese layer and sprinkle with paprika.

12. Bake for 35-45 minutes or until crust and top are golden brown and knife inserted in center comes out clean

This week I am celebrating a new release. This story has been waiting to come out for the past six years so I'm really excited about it coming out. I encourage you to read book one first, Possession Of the Soul before you tackle book 2, Laying Claim to the Soul.

The Fantasy Is Alive

Book one: Possession of the Soul

Blurb:

Can one woman handle a foursome made up of an Anasazi god, a demon and an alpha werewolf as lovers?

Ever since Tabatha’s family was murdered, she’s always faced things head-on, but now those killers and their allies are trying to kill her, too.

As the foursome works to solve the mystery of Tabatha’s special purpose, Wol-itelm, Chax and Hoyt must battle the enemy when it strikes their home. Snakes, wayward demons, and opposing were-clans attack Tabatha every chance they get. All three of Tabatha’s mates must come together to fight these enemies to save the woman they love.

Can they save her, and can they also tame their wild female both in bed and out of it?

The Fantasy Is Alive

Book 2: Laying Claim to the Soul

Excerpt:

“I must say you have some balls dear sister. You do realize who you were yelling at, right?” Furfur asked as she sat down and took a bite of her ice cream.
“It does not matter. I’d yell at your boss if I had too,” Tabitha smiled. “I did laugh at him that one time.”
Chax’s brother turned his head and the expression on his face was comical, to say the least.
“Oh, okay I remember that, but he likes you for some reason.” Furfur said.
“Well thanks a lot brother of mine. You don’t like me?” She took her spoon and flung chocolate ice cream at him just when he turned his head towards her. The blob of ice cream hit him right below the left eye.
The shocked expression on his face as the ice cream ran down his cheek was too much. Tabatha burst out laughing. She laughed so hard tears rolled down her face.
“I so wish I had a camera,” Tabatha said as Wol-itelm came out onto the deck followed by Chax and Hoyt.
“What’s so funny…damn brother if you like ice cream so much use a spoon,” Chax teased.
“Funny real funny. I owe you one sister,” Furfur got up from his chair and headed inside, but Tabatha had seen the smile on his face.
She got up and went to him touching his shoulder. He turned and looked down at her the ice cream still dripping. “Thank you. I needed that more then you know.” Tabatha wrapped her arms around his waist and hugged him. “I'm glad you’re here, all of you. Even your pain in the ass brother Nicor.” She stepped back and grinned. “But that is okay, because I've decided to help Nicor. What he needs is a mate and I have the perfect person in mind for him.”
Furfur stared down at her for a few seconds before he started laughing. “I'm so going love watching this. Consider this your free shot.” He leaned down and kissed her cheek earning a growl from his brother
“Back off brother,” Chax said as he pulled her back into his arms.

    1. Hi,
Sorry about the delete but I forgot to include the link for my toffee pumpkin pie cheesecake. LOL! I'm not real great with this small keyboard on the kindle so I get distracted by having to keep erasing my typing mistakes. LOL! So here is a recipe that my family loves. I usually double the spice.as we. Like it a bit healthier than most. I hope you try it and like it. 😊
